Located in a picturesque area, this 19th-century cottage exceeded our expectations. The spacious kitchen was a highlight, and the comfortable beds in the bedrooms ensured a good night's sleep. We also enjoyed the pleasant views from the rear of the property.
Some aspects of the cottage could be improved, such as the broken doors in the bedrooms and the continuously running fan in the bathroom.

I couldn't believe the value for money at Eskside Cottage! The house was beyond our expectations, especially the huge kitchen. The beds were comfortable, and we loved the welcome basket. The location was perfect with beautiful views, and even though the local pub was closed, having a SPAR and chippy nearby was convenient. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
The breakfast could be improved with a wider variety of options.

I enjoyed the free WiFi, while pretending I was productive. The nearby activities like golfing and fishing allowed me to show off my non-existent skills. Oh, and the 4-star property had a microwave. fancy!
Oh, and don't get me started on the broken toilet seat. Such a delightful surprise.

There were a few minor issues during our stay. the bathroom fan was constantly on, which was a bit annoying and made the room colder at night.

What a cozy little cottage! The bathroom with the bath or shower was like a sanctuary, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring. It had a warm and homely feel that made me feel instantly at ease. As someone who loves a good soak, this was a real highlight for me.
I personally preferred the bathroom with just the shower. But hey, that's just me.
